In the Configuration area, the "Security" section has been newly created. There you find now the possibility to enable a 2-factor authentication for the planners' login. In addition, you can make settings here for password security for both planners and employees.
What is 2-factor authentication?
To protect your data and that of your employees from access by strangers, Staffcloud also introduces an additional security level. With two-factor authentication, your account is not only secured by your user name and the associated password, but also by an additional query. The additional security level usually consists of a request for a uniquely generated password that is only valid for this one login. You will receive the required code for the login via e-mail or SMS.
How is 2-factor authentication activated?
In the configurations (1.) under Settings (2.) in the Security tab (3.) you will find the option to activate 2-factor authentication (4.). If 2-factor authentication is activated, it applies to ALL planners, it is a global setting.
