With an availability query, employees are not invited for a specific function on a specific day as with traditional staff planning, but are asked when they would generally be willing/ have time to work in a period of time (e.g. a month). You can find out how to configure an availability query (shifts and days to be queried) here
A new availability request is created in the menu item Availabilities - Add New Request:
By clicking on “Add New Request”, the availability request manager opens, where you first enter the details, such as the name of the request, the desired time group (see configuration) and the period for which the request is to be made:
Notifications and actions can now be set in the settings. For the type of message, you can choose between the types “Notification” and “Overdue”. “Notification” triggers a message to the employees that a new availability query has been sent out, ‘Overdue’ triggers a reminder to those employees who have not yet entered any availability in the current query:
In the next step, you can now select the employees who are to be queried for availability:
The search form can be customized in the general configuration.
By clicking on “Add new employees requests” the availability request is sent to the employees and by clicking on “Close” the request manager is closed.
