Learn about the different actions archive, abort or delete and what these actions lead to

Usually there are two reasons to finish projects or single events.

1) Project/event is finished and shall be archived

2) Project/event is cancelled and shall be deleted

For both options there can be found a functionality in Project overview, which appears when selecting a project or event.

In principle, the purpose decides on their use:

Archive events

Archiving an event changes its status to Archived so that it no longer appears in the overview of active events.

An event can be archived at any time. Employees do not receive any notification of this. Archived projects/events can be reactivated at any time.

Abort events

This action is only possible as long as a project/event is in the future.  The employees are unloaded from the event/project, if you wish the employees can be notified.

In a second step, the event is sent to "aborted" projects tab.

Delete events

When the project/event is planned in the future, and no staff was invited or assigned yet, it is possible to delete it. It will be deleted from the system and no longer displayed in any project/event list.
