Push notifications are essential for staying updated, but if they are not working on your iOS device, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue. This guide provides a detailed troubleshooting process to help you ensure notifications are properly configured and functioning.

Steps to Resolve Push Notifications Issues on iOS:

1. Check Device Settings:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Navigate to Notifications.
  • Find the Staffcloud app and tap on it.
  • Ensure that the Allow Notifications toggle is enabled.
  • Verify that the notification types (e.g., Banners, Sounds, Badges) are correctly configured as per your preferences.

2. Verify App-Specific Settings:

  • Check in the Staffcloud App wheter Push notifications are anabled
  • Open the app, go to my profile -> settings and ensure the notifications are anabled: 

3. Check Do Not Disturb or Focus Mode:

  • Ensure Do Not Disturb or any active Focus mode is not blocking notifications.
  • Go to Settings > Focus and review the active modes.
  • Disable or adjust settings to allow app notifications.

4. Update the App and iOS:

  • Ensure the app is updated to the latest version by visiting the App Store.
  • Check for any iOS updates by going to Settings > General > Software Update and install if available.

5. Check Network Connectivity:

  • Push notifications rely on an active internet connection.
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi or cellular data is working properly.
  • Test accessing other online services to confirm network stability.

6. Reinstall the App:

  • If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
  • After reinstalling, log in and check if notifications are working.

  • Ensure that the device is not in Low Power Mode, as this can limit background activities, including notifications. Disable Low Power Mode by going to Settings > Battery.

  • Reset the network settings on your device if connectivity issues persist. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will remove saved Wi-Fi passwords.
