Responding to invitations in the app

Published:
Updated:

Invitations to work assignments are sent by the employer to the employee — usually via push notification in the app and, depending on your employer’s settings, also by email.

In the My Invitations section on the app’s home screen, you can see requests for future shifts. Click on the first tile or click View All to see further invitations.

You can display these either sorted by project or by time period.

Tapping the invitation tile opens the project information. Here, the exact assignment location and, if applicable, additional information about the assignment are displayed. Depending on your employer’s settings, you may also see the customer, the customer contact, the planner at your employer and the current planning progress.

You can either Ignore invitations or Apply for shifts. Ignoring means that you are not interested in this shift. By applying, you inform your employer that you would like to work this shift.

To respond to an invitation, you can take one of the following actions:

  • Swipe the invitation tile to the left to Ignore it or to the right to Apply
  • Use the checkboxes in the overview to select one or more invitations and then choose either Ignore or Apply. You can also send a comment to your employer here.
  • Click on the tile to view the details of the offered shift. From there, you can also send a message to your employer.

You can withdraw your applications for shifts as long as planning has not yet started on your employer’s side. As soon as you have been assigned to a shift, it will appear under My Assignments. At that point, cancellation via the app is no longer possible — you must contact your employer.

It may happen that your employer has configured all invitations within a project so that you can only apply for all offered shifts at the same time. If this is the case, you will be informed via a pop-up.

If you do not receive any invitations, please contact your employer.
