Edit and Approve Work Data

Published:
Updated:

Work data is used to adjust and approve working hours after an assignment has taken place. Wages, compensation and similar payroll-related data can also be adjusted and approved here.

Basics

Under the Work Data tab, the times and wages for completed assignments can be edited, checked and approved.

Choose between the views By Events or By Employees. You can filter the work data as needed.

Editing and approving working hours and wages for one person

In Configuration -> Projects -> Staff planning, you can define whether working hours and wages should be edited and approved together or in two separate steps, for example if one person approves the working hours and another person approves the wages afterwards.

The default setting is the simultaneous approval of times and wages:

In the work data section, you can edit the working time and wages by clicking on the time or wage profile. If two-step editing/approval is enabled, selecting a time opens the time editing view, while clicking on the wage profile opens the wage editing view.

After entering the desired times and wage data and clicking Save, the times and wages can then be approved.

Approved times and wages are marked with the green icon.

When hovering over the approved wage, you can directly see how the displayed total wage is calculated.

To undo an approval, click directly on the green icon. You can either reopen only the wages or both times and wages.

Editing and approving multiple working times and wages

You can edit the working times — start, break start, break end and end — of multiple assignments at the same time by selecting the relevant assignments and then choosing the Edit Times and Wages button at the bottom.

In the same way, you can also assign a new wage profile to multiple employees or assignments and then edit it.

By clicking Approve after saving the changes, you can directly approve multiple working times and wages at the same time.
