Staffcloud distinguishes between wage types and wage profiles. Additionally, surcharges can be configured.

A wage profile can consist of one or more wage types.

For example, an employee can receive the following wage components (= wage types) during a shift:

- Hourly wage
- Mileage allowance
- Expense reimbursement
- Night surcharge
- Sunday surcharge
- Holiday surcharge

These different wage types are bundled into a wage profile.
